As you may know, a petition has been sent to the United States Fencing Association requesting that the North Carolina Division be split into two divisions, roughly on an East-West border.
The Division will be holding it’s annual Junior Olympic qualifier on November 13th and 14th, at the Charlotte Fencing Academy. Pre-Registration is on AskFred.net, and can be found here.
The Division will be conducting a training for any individuals who are new to the Division Tournament Observer program. Training will be held at Mid-South Fencers’ Club following the Division Membership meeting. Preregistration can be found here.
The Division is hosting an FOC Referee seminar with Jon Moss on September 18th and 19th. The seminar will be held at NBS Gym, in Raleigh, NC. The first day is the eight-hour seminar required for all USAF referees, and the second day will host a tournament for referees to be observed for ratings increases. If you would like to register, you can do so online!
